Madan Lal
Agarwala was a dedicated social worker and a great philanthropist.
With his foresightedness, realised the hazards of illeteracy
amongst the rural population, dedicated himself to the cause
and welfare of the tribal brethren accross the nation, particularly
in the state of Jharkhand, Bihar, Orissa and West Bengal.
He was instrumental in establishing many educational institutions,
hostels, and also hospitals for the havenots. His vision to
spread litteracy amongst the tribal brethren can be seen in
the form of "One Teacher School" concept running accross the
